Jersey City, N.J. – September 28, 2010 – McQuay International today announced the opening of the Daikin McQuay Sales and Service office that will serve the five Burroughs of Manhattan, Long Island and Westchester. The move helps the company foster a direct customer relationship to expand business in the New York City area where engineers specify some of the world’s largest and most complex HVAC systems.
The announcement comes on the heels of the opening of the Daikin McQuay Solutions Plaza at 10 Exchange Place in Jersey City, N.J. earlier this year, designed as a center for HVAC customers and specifying engineers with a state-of-the-art, interactive showroom, sales and training facility meant to far surpass any within the industry. The Daikin McQuay Sales and Services Office will open October 1, 2010 and will expand to include parts distribution in January 2011.

Tanzillo went on to say that the Daikin McQuay New York team of 16 intends to begin by aggressively connecting with the mechanical contractors in place and enhance direct contact and customer service with current customers, consulting specifying engineers, architects and construction managers/general contractors. He also stated that McQuay views the New York company-owned sales, service and parts office as a milestone for reaching their goal of becoming the number one global manufacturer of HVAC equipment.
